Brief
This is a quick group project I did with a design team composed of myself, Emilie Cevallos, Kate Yang, and Andrew Eastman. We had to acquire a cheap product, take it apart, learn its impact on the environment, and change the design to make it more sustainable. We did this with a website called Sustainable Minds, an online tool that broke down our product's life cycle and impacts. As you'll see below, the product we chose was a $15 Emerson Clock. From that, we created a new, wind-up clock that performs a similar function to the original clock but explores how nature tells time using the sun and slowing the American pace of life.
